Description
VERY RARE 1970 The Beatles "Let It Be" album on Apple Records with Gold Foil Odeon stickers denoting it for Export use. Very few of these original Apple Beatles releases feature this Export denotion and as a result are very rare and very sought after. Original pressings of these albums were outfitted with Gold Foil Odeon stickers so that they could be sold in countries that did not yet recognize Apple Records but did sell Odeon Records.
Let It Be was the Beatles' last studio release despite being recorded prior to Abbey Road. It's release councided with the release of the Beatles movie of the same name which showcased as a documentary of sorts the tensions within the band as they neared the end of their historic run. It was the fourth Beatles LP release on Apple Records.
Album is in decent shape, the record features upon visual inspection only light hairlines and nothing that looks like it would significantly effect playback. Labels look very nice, dark green Apple label retains all of its beautifully rich color. Sadly there is no original inner sleeve but a generic one will be provided. Cover is fully laminated and actually pretty solid for its age. No seam splits and very little seam wear, spine is perfectly legible, and only slight ringwear on front and backsides. Small brown spot, looks like dirt on front cover near bottom right corner.
