Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. RARE ORIGINAL 1969 first pressing on the RAINBOW Capitol label of legendary trippy garage psych crew ...this pressing wasn't around long, a one 'run' production -- most copies found were pressed on the scarce lime green label. Space Hymn was produced just as Capitol was in labels mid-change over from rainbow to lime green ...and was not pressed again by the label....
The ultimate experimental garage/psych band of the late ‘60’s, Lothar and the Hand People were fronted NOT by a musician, but by a musical instrument; a theremin named Lothar. The band recorded two albums, “Presenting…Lothar and the Hand People” released in 1968 and “Space Hymn” in 1969 which most collectors see as an overall improvement, but in reality both albums reveal in essential grooves for the mind and body...
It is electronic garage with melodic tunes throughout, a kind of cool music played by mad dwarfs, and SPACE HYMN is really good to listen to. There is no tension here, no jarring forces at war with each other. It may be strange that New York, the city which deifies speed and insanity, could produce this music, but it is as if Lothar and the Hand People have gone through this madness and come out on the other side, smiling.

CONDITION: The cover is solid all over. VG++ has light shelf wear starting, very spider web like crease at top left, the rest is CLEAN and the back cover with group photo is M- top clean. Hard to find without such wear with the the dark colors and all after 40+ years. There is NO delete marks and the seams are very tight, stiff all over and no writing.
The vinyl is all glossy VG++ with a few only minor top surface hair scuffs, clean otherwise and plays enjoyable without audio distraction...both rainbow Capitol labels are clean
