SUPER RARE and cool 1965 GARAGE rockin' twanged out guitars ago-go -- a tight British Invasion sound with terrific melodic grooves amid straight from the garage sounds of The Esquires (There are No additives like ochestra, additional musicians, etc)...
The Esquires were signed to Capitol Records in 1963, and are considered to have been the first Canadian rock band to be signed to a major label. In 1964, they received the RPM Award as TOP new rock'n'roll group. The Esquires, great enough to support the opening act for some of the major performers of the day, including The Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys, The Dave Clark Five and others of the level. The Esquires issued a series of singles, the biggest hit of which was "So Many Other Boys" and one album, Introducing The Esquires, which is now a very rare & seldom seen, sought after GARAGE rock collectible....
Lead singer Don Norman, who had succeeded Bob Harrington as vocalist, split acrimoniously with the group in 1965, leading to a lawsuit when he named his new group Don Norman and The Esquires. Norman gave up his claim to The Esquires name, but his departure from the group is said to have cost them their contract with Capitol Records. Norman continued as Don Norman and The Other Four, who in turn issued some 'hot' garage 45's....

CONDITION: The cover is thick, like the old sixties albums were...this one is strong and solid VG++ to "EX" (excellent) with a very glossy front (laminated UK like) ...no bends, no seam splits and very collectible looking ,,,a nice display looking rarity from the mid sixties...
The vinyl is all glossy both sides having little scuff hairlines that don't affect the playback, visually VG+ and plays very enjoyable...
A cool addition to anyone's music library!
