Description
Here is an album offered up for sale: A RARE original 1964 PROMO album by the blues master "Jimmy Reed The Legend The Man" Released on Vee Jay VJLP 8501 (mono), has printed inner sleeve. This special pressing, has the vintage 1960's heavy vinyl and VJ "Promotional Copy" black and white labels and textured cover with "DJ COPY" stamp on back. (see photos)
The vinyl grades strong VG, is super clean and glossy, has some light marks and just a few small more moderate ones on each side, has been PLAY TESTED. This vinyl plays very good from start to finish, bright sound with some light background pops, no skips or jumps, a very enjoyable listen!
The cover rates EX, is clean with great color and minimal handling wear, no splits, no tape, binder edge is EX and readable, opening and binder edges have a bit of age discoloration, back cover has sticker shadow, has been well cared for, inner sleeve is clean, has center splits neatly taped. (see all photos)
