rare 1960's copy of "Surfing Seminar". This hard to find LP features narratives by such surfing legends as Mike Doyle, Joyce Hoffman, Mickey Munoz, Joey Cabell, Del Cannon and Chuck Linnen on the various aspects of surfing, including safety tips and board design. Backed by acoustic guitar, they each take their turn in relating their life experience and expertise in the sport. Richard W. Graham, Editor and Publisher of Internatioinal Surfing Magazine wrote, "Surfing Seminar" is a unique innovation, not only because of the valuable instruction to the novice surfer, but because of the way its principles express the excitement that is surfing. The cover has had a sticker removed in the past. There is a wear ring where the record lies. There is a portion of the title missing on the back, probably from sticking to another record cover at some time. There are a few small beverage? spots to the back, and a dent in the cardboard as well. The seams are tight. Happily, the vinyl has faired quite well. Has one light scuff start to finish, but otherwise, pretty nice! Doesn't appear to have been played much. I don't like to grade 'em, but VG to VG+ would probably be accurate.
