This is a rare ORIGINAL 1959 PRESSING of a release by jazz vocalist BEVERLY KENNEY called BORN TO BE BLUE. The album was issued as Decca 8850; this is a MONO copy. GOLDMINE JAZZ GUIDE VALUES IT AT $200. 12 cuts include BEYOND THE NEXT HILL, VANITY, IT'S A BLUE WORLD, BORN TO BE BLUE, ISN'T IT A PITY, FOR ALL WE KNOW, AGAIN, I WALK A LITTLE FASTER and SOMEWHERE ALONG THE WAY. This record was obtained from a radio station record library; it has carefully placed tape on the bottom seam annd the upper corners, is otherwise in excellent condition.
