This is a RARE ORIGINAL 1957 FIRST PRESSING of a release by the great IVORY JOE HUNTER. The self-titled album was issued as Atlantic 8008; this is a MONO copy on the BLACK ATLANTIC LABEL. GOLDMINE'S AMERICAN RECORDS VALUES THE ALBUM AT $200. 14 cuts include SINCE I MET YOU BABY, A TEAR FELL, I WANT SOMEBODY, THAT'S WHY I DREAM, YOU MEAN EVERYTHING TO ME, HEAVEN CAME DOWN TO EARTH, IT MAY SOUND SILLY, YOU CAN'T STOP THIS ROCKIN AND ROLLIN, I NEED YOU BY MY SIDE and IT'S A DOGGONE CRYING SHAME.
