Description
Pictured is a very rare recording by the great DooWop group the Flamingos, on the original 1955 PARROT label – record no. 812. The titles are I’M YOURS (A side) and KO KO MO. This record is in VG condition as defined in Goldmine publication. It has much of the original luster but does have a small 1/4" scratch from the edge on the I’m Yours side (there is a slight tick when listening but it does not skip and lasts only for a few seconds) – I’m mentioning this only to be absolutely accurate as this is a truly rare DooWop recording by one of the pioneer groups in 1955 – there simply aren’t many of these around in any condition. It also has 1954 printed on the label. This record is guaranteed authentic, on the original label and is not a knock-off. I’m am putting up for auction a number of these rare records from the 1950’s including the 1956 DEAR ELVIS by AUDREY on the original PLUS label and the 1958 I WANNA KNOW by the ISLEY Bros. on GONE label, so check out my other auctions over the coming weeks.
