Description

You are bidding on a very special, HUGELY RARE, 6 record set of 12" 78's.  It is a 1927 recording of Rachmaninoff's Symphony No. 2, e Minor, Opus 27 by the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra, conducted by its FIRST conductor, Nikolai Solokoff.  This recording was featured in the 10 box set put out by the orchestra company to celebrate its 75th anniversary.  The album carrier is in superior condition, with only some wear on spine edges.  The albums inside are in excellent condition.  This is "Album 11," so inside is contained a pamphlet describing the upcoming "Album 12," Franz Schubert's Unfinished Symphony ( see photos).  This is an amazing piece of history to own, especially considering its condition.
