Description
RANKING DREAD - Shut Me Mouth / Shut Up Shut Up (Greensleeves GRED82) - 12" - 1982 Very nicely presented original pressing of this Greensleeves 12" featuring Ranking Dread's H-E-A-V-Y roots killer Shut Me Mouth, which segues into its dub, backed by the brutal full-length dub. Mixed and produced by Ranking Dread, recorded at Tuff Gong, with the heavy bass courtesy of Aston 'Familyman' Barrett. The vinyl retains a very good sheen with some very light superficial surface marks and a few fine, ultra-light hairlines - nothing significant - see descriptions below.
A-side: There is only the tiniest hint of any background surface noise - hardly audible in fact - with an occasional tiny or very small pop or click. Grade - EX-/EX
B-side: There is only the tiniest hint of any background surface noise - hardly audible in fact - with an occasional tiny or very small pop or clicks. Grade - EX-/EX
Labels: There are soundman markings written in biro on the A-side label (see scan), while the B-side label is pristine.
