Description
Up for auction is an acetate of I Think It’s Going To Rain Today by Randy Newman. This is a demo recording of the song, recorded by Randy himself, featuring just his vocal & solo piano, and is, as far as I’m aware, completely unreleased.
Condition: many surface marks on the surface, but the acetate plays through with surface noise, but no jumps or sticks, and not many repetitive clicks. There is a small (2mm) section of the lacquer missing on the absolute edge of the disc, well away from the playing surface. As far as I can tell, a label has never been attached to the playing side of the acetate, though it looks like there may have been one on the non-playing side (no longer present). G+
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item pictured here is the item for sale. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence!
