This is in SUPERB condition!
His second album from 1971..A cracking set of blues rock with a healthy dash of R+B...Strong vocals and great musicianship,it's a cracking album!!.
Issued on a tiny label which had minimal distribution and even less promotion,this album sank without trace when it was issued..It is now seriously hard to find..(Impossible to find in this condition!)....
In fact,this is the first spare copy that I have EVER had to offer for sale (and I have been gathering records since 1965 and dealing in them since 1985!..)..
Issued by Beacon Records in 1971..BEAS 17..UK pressing in a flimsy,lightweight,textured,gatefold sleeve..It still has the large lyric poster..
The matrix numbers are BEAS 17 A1/BEAS 17 B 1..It's a first pressing..
The disc is in absolute top condition...Just one look at this disc and you say.."Wow!..This has never been played"..It really does look that good..It has no scratches and no scuffs and it still has that sheen of virgin vinyl..Even strong light shows no defects..
It plays as good as it looks..MINT..This is not a grade that I like too use too often,but this disc plays perfectly..It has no clicks,no pops and no crackle..Even the run in grooves and track links are silent..The sound quality is clean and undistorted and the music just bursts out of the speakers with no audio defects or groove wear..
The disc plays flat on the deck with no edge warps or dishing..
The labels are undamaged..There is absolute minimal spindle wear..I would suggest that this has had a maximum of TWO plays.
The sleeve is EX +..A non laminated,textured gatefold made of lightweight card has NO chance of surviving nearly 45 years unless it has been well looked after..This has been well looked after..
Casting my eagle eye over the sleeve,I spot a couple of minor defects:..There is just a hint of dischape,the edges have very slight rubbing,as does the top and bottom of the spine..The corners the lightest wear you could imagine..But these are minor defects and don't detract from the crispness of this sleeve..
It's clean,crisp and tidy!..
It has no rips,tears,seam splits,stains, scribble,stickers or sellotape or other such defects..
The poster is as new..In fact,I think that I may be the first to take it out of the sleeve.It's crisp and clean with no pinholes or tape marks..NO wear along the folds either!!..
You are welcome to collect this in person or from The Southend Record Fair (11th May,8th June) and then the second Sunday in each month)..Where there are LOADS of great albums and singles offered for sale...
