Description
This is a rare original 1984 pressing of the famed Rainy Day album, which was a collaborative project between several of the main musicians and singers of the Paisley Underground movement in LA, which included the Bangles, the Three O'Clock, the Dream Syndicate, the Rain Parade, Green on Red, and the Long Ryders. On this record various of them join together to play covers of their favorite folk rock songs of the 60s. Featured singers are Susanna Hoffa, Michael Quercio, Kendra Smith, and Dave Roback. Released on Llama / Enigma records.
The disc is in beautiful near mint condition. Just a very few light scuffs, but there is pretty much not any noise or popping at all. One or two very light ones, but that is it. Plays almost completely perfectly and beautifully. The cover has a sticker rip (see photo) and just the barest beginning of a ringwear, but is overall excellent. A really nice copy.
