Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my Dutch Beat, Prog, Psych and Jazz records that are form my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, a very rare first Holland pressing of Rainman – The Bird b/w Money Means Nothing At All on the Negram label with cat. no. NG 256.
The record is in VG++ condition, there are a few non-sounding hairlines only. The labels are in VG+ condition, there are a couple spindle marks only.
The record comes with an original Bovema Negram company sleeve, which is in VG+++ condition. There is only some slight wear along the edges and there is a tiny sticker on one side, but further no writing, no rips or tears or other damage.
This is a very hard to find (especially in this condition) Dutch original single of Rainman (Frank Nuyens of Q65). When thios single was first released back in 1971, it sold virtually nothing (just like Rainman’s album) and was deleted shortly after, and although this copy has no picture sleeve (I don’t even know if this single ever came with a picture sleeve, I have never seen this single before), it is an extremely rare Dutch progressive single, a real must have for all psychedelic / progressive music collectors!
