RADIOHEAD - 3 TRACK OFFICIAL EMI UK INTERNAL DEMO CASSETTE TAPE
Condition: EX++/M
This is an original and authentic internal reference demo tape, likely created around the time that Radiohead signed with EMI/Parlophone UK. There is very little information available about this tape, other than brief mentions of various demos being recorded after the band was signed to EMI by multiple Radiohead biography books out there (e.g. Standing on the Edge, From a Great Height, Exit Music: The Radiohead Story).
This tape was purchased by me in June 1999, from a reputable online UK music dealer, MAP RECORDS UK (now defunct and part of Espirit International / EIL). I have the original receipt of the purchase and it will be given to the winner of the auction. I've included a scan with some key information covered up, to show that I'm not making all this up.
The demo tape has the TAPE TO TAPE AUDIO DUPLICATION logo on the back. A similar demo tape pressing of The Cure's "A Letter to Elise" can be seen on the on-fiction.com's discography site

The songs on the tape are not the same as the commercial album versions, and the track "Nothing Touches Me" is strictly available on this cassette (and the famous Manic Hedgehog/On A Friday demo tapes).

This is arguably the Holy Grail of Radiohead collectibles. You will not be able to track down an original "On a Friday" or "Manic Hedgehog" demo cassette, because nobody will be willing to sell even if they had them. This is AS CLOSE as one can possibly get to a true old school Radiohead demo cassette tape.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a REAL piece of Radiohead history!

Cash can be sent at your risk, but I do not advise it. Cash can be sent in a envelope, registered or recorded delivery at your choice, but if payment envelope is lost it is not my responsibility.
