Description

RADIO ACTIVE Ten Years After / Alltime Needletime Loser – 7” vinyl single on Beeb Records from 1977 (BEEB 021).

You are bidding for an original pressing of this rare single recorded by Radio Active. This item is given a high desirability star rating in Mario Panciera’s excellent 45 Revolutions book, where it is described as having been masterminded by two employees of the BBC to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Radio One. The A side is a 60’s influenced track which is of little interest to New Wave or Punk collectors, but the B side ‘Alltime Needletime Loser’ is much more interesting as a result of which this single has sold for silly money in the past, and it is still listed by dealer on other sites with a three figure price tag.

Visually this copy is in beautiful condition with no defects worth mentioning.

Audibly the single plays great just a little background noise during the run in / out of each side and the occasional click or pop, but you will struggle to find a better copy so I would grade this as Ex+.

The labels are nice and clean with little evidence of play so are graded as Ex+.

This single was never issued with a picture sleeve.

Overall I would grade this collectable single as a fabulous Ex+ (vinyl).

All vinyl is played in full using a top quality turntable and headphones to ensure an accurate grading is made and suitable comments relating to the pressing are included in the listing.
