- Quinn Harris' ultra cool funk vocal from early 1970's .We purchased the complete inventory of over 20,000 45's from Frank's Record Shop in Vancouver B.C. when they decided to close down their store back in 1989. Included in that group in new, unplayed condition were many releases of Vancouver, Victoria, Canadian, U.K. and U.S.A. punk, funk, soul and garage bands. This is one of them.

-The vinyl is in M-, unplayed condtion. The labels are M- with a delete line on side 2, see scan.

-Very cool funk recording from early 1970's. Great dance rhythm, soaring background female voices throughout and Quinns' smooth soulful voice make this a desirable addition to the serious collector of funk / soul music. Not to much is known about Quinn Harris' recording career other than his 'All In The Soul' 'Masterminds' album on ' Reynolds' Records and this his only single.' I'll Always Love You' and ' Protect Me From Myself ' were written and produced by Huey R. Harris and arranged by Quinn Harris on M.L.E. Records out of L.A. in California.
