For sale are 9 releases with 10 fully tested LP's by Quincy Jones, all really nice. The records are a mix of VG+ to EX visually, certainly most if not all play at least EX. The jackets are pretty solid VG+ as shown, only In The Heat of the Night has one ding in the lower right edge of the front that might make me grade that one VG, Roots is in shrink and really nice, Around the World is especially shiny as well, and it is also the harder to find Stereo pressing of the original version that includes Rico Vicilon, the track of Cuban music that was left off later pressings. The Color Purple is the beautiful purple vinyl box set with booklet includes and plays great, cut notch through box. "Golden Boy" is on Mercury Records from 1964, deep groove MG-20938, mono press. The cover is still in shrink which is mostly in tack but has worn away a little at the corners and some light wear has ensued. The main front picture is nicer than the picture portrays, the smudginess is on the shrink, the picture is shiny and nice. The back somehow got a brown smudge under the shrink in the middle of the cover, you can see it in the picture. The vinyl is stellar, I only see one very small visual flaw, and it really plays perfectly to my ears at normal listening volume, very nice indeed. Quincy Plays For Pussycats is the rare Stereo pressing, strong VG+ vinyl that plays more EX, very nice cover with a punch hole upper right. Mellow Madness is a standard US pressing with VG+ vinyl and jacket.
