Description
Open, new but played only once copy of the soundtrack to the excellent new Tarantino film.
Selling this one as I got another for a gift.
Because it has been opened I will be specific about condition. Please note: I am a very conservative grader of LPs. I do not grade any played record above very good condition even it if it is new and only played once as I think it is dishonest.
Cover: As new and still in its stickered but open shrink.
Inserts: As new but listing as being in fair condition. No splits or rips but there are some factory handling "thumb and finger creasing" from the idiot in the factory pulling the sleeve back to put the records in. I don't know why they can't do this without creasing the sleeves these days but there it is. Both inner sleeves have creases on either side. See photos. Not bad but of course this is a subjective thing.
The credit insert and mini poster are as new.
LPs: Records are as new and played once. Sound quality is generally good throughout-no pops. The records have little scuff marks and a lot of hair line marks all from new-my own copy is exactly the same and it is from the paper sleeves. They were also very "staticky" and factory dusty from new. I brushed them but a wet clean would be a good idea.
Disc 1: Good condition. No pops whatsoever. Occasional clicks and light surface noise which were probably just dust but a number of the songs do sound "vintage" in keeping with the nostalgia of the film. The records were covered in a lot of dust from new so a clean is recommended.
Disc 2: Fair-good condition. Record is as above but the disc is not completely flat as it spins on Side D and. No effect on play but for all intents and purposes the record has a warp. I like to point out this sort of thing. Many of the tracks on Side D are much quieter and therefore there is very light, very occasional surface noise, from little imperfections in the disc- some very little background thuds in the short instrumental track Miss Lily towards the end of Side D, for example. It plays all the way through.
Opportunity for a bargain, ideal playing copy. Please do note about side D as above. UK only. Thanks.
