Description
From my private collection, a Very Rare original U.S.A. Radio Promotional Copy and 1st pressing of Queens 1973 Classic Rock 7" single (E-45268-A), "Keep Yourself Alive" Stereo version on one side and Mono version on the other. In original Elektra/Asylum Generic company sleeve. This was Queens first ever single release, and as a 47 year old USA white label radio promo, this is an exceptionally rare item.
There are surface blemishes and hairline scratches on both sides, amazingly (and this is the beauty of vinyl) the sound quality is hardly affected, the stereo side plays fantastically well, even on the quieter call and answer section near the end, the mono side is the same apart from a blip near the beginning of the track. Sleeve condition is near MINT (see guide below) with no tears or creases. I have seen English demo's of this record sell for many hundreds of pounds, and if this was mint unmarked vinyl it would be the same, however, as always, price reflects condition, so please be aware you are bidding on a vinyl that has obviously been played and shows in the condition, but plays really well and is a much sought after collectable.
