Queen A night At The Opera. DCC #'d Ltd Edition. A fairly hard to find DCC pressing.
Just played this and let me tell you there is a lot of power pressed into the grooves on this record. Most copies of A Night At The Opera are a tough find with good sound. Forget almost everything except a hard to find British original with good sound and most of those are not good. So this copy gets you most of the way there.
Big meaty base with a balanced mid range. Bohemian Rhapsody here is sounding fantastic. Turn it up and feel that pounding rock energy. Side 1 is good but side 2 a little better, just a hint more dynamic.
The cover has a ding in the top right and a small one on the bottom left, but other than that its in good shape. The vinyl is mint- maybe a few light ticks but very subtle and infrequent. Its as close to perfect as you can get from a played record.
Bought this copy decades ago used and enjoyed listening to it. The LP is a classic one of Queens best if not the best. But that's debatable.
