Description
Queen's classic 1975 release "A Night at the Opera" half-speed mastered by MFSL. This is a hard-to-find record and doesn't come up for auction very often.
The vinyl looks Near Mint but plays VG+. There is very minor surface noise at the beginning of each side and an occasional tick or pop throughout the record. The most noticeable is on Bohemian Rhapsody. Beginning with the phrase "Because I'm easy come, easy go" and continuing until "Mama, just killed a man," there is a repetitive tick that lasts for about 30 seconds. Other than that the record plays great!
I have graded the cover F (Fair) due to discoloration, dinged corners and ragged edges. The bottom seam is starting to split in the middle of the second half of the gatefold cover. There is no ring wear.
This MFSL pressing sounds phenomenal!
