The box (which is very heavy) includes...
1/ Discs 1 & 2 - The original double album (2011 remaster) 2/ Discs 3 & 4 - 25 demo tracks from Petes studio archive. 3/ Disc 5 - The Quadrophenia 5.1 EP - Exclusive eight track DVD. 4/ Deluxe 100 page hard back book featuring a 13,000 word essay by Pete shedding light on the period before, during & after the creation of the album, repro personal notes, lyrics & memorabilia from the period. 5/ A replica 7" vinyl single '5.15' & 'Water'.
This is an amazing item that was personally given to me by Pete Townshend, which is when we removed the shrink wrap allowing him to signed it for me. The very special message 'From the Beach' was written because during our long conversation / lunch we worked out that we were in Brighton at the same time in the 60's during the Mods & Rockers fights!!!! (I was in a push chair and he was with the band!)
Whilst being a massive Who fan, I have never played any of the CD's or the single and the first time this box has been unpacked was when I took the photos to feature on eBay. It's now taking up too much space and has to go.
