Here’s an incredible Queensryche piece that I’ve never seen another of.
Up for auction is a copy of queensryche’s self titled EP released in 1982 initially. This is the 1983 EMI pressing EMI America – DLP-19006.
What makes this so unique is this copy comes with a letter, and signed photo from the bands management to what appears to be the earliest members of the Queensryche fan club. The letter itself thanks the individual for the support, and gives a quick run down of the shows the band has been playing recently. This letter includes pre printed signatures from the band, and still has the envelope (official Queensryche envelope no less!), dated the 11th of august, 1983.
Also included is a hand signed photo of the band. Signed by Geoff Tate, Michael Wilton, Chris DeGarmo, Eddie Jackson, and Scott Rockenfield. This photo is the band photo from the back of the EP.
I have no idea how many of these photos and letters exist, or how many survived through the years, i just know that I’ve never seen another in my years of collecting. Really cool chance to own a really early part of Queensryche history. Letter and photo would look amazing framed on their own, or with the vinyl. Record sleeve and vinyl both in NM condition.
