'Sheer Heart Attack'

BEFORE 'BOHEMIAN Rhapsody' and all the other tosh  they released, Queen were a raging heavy rock band. Like a progressive Led Zeppelin, their MO seemed to be focused on how to rock hard rather than confound us with bizarre pop toons and 'Sheer Heart Attack' is a brilliant example of how great they were. This is full on hard rock heaven with Brian May doing his best to steer the ship right to the heart of punishing early seventies guitar nirvana. Right from the get they kick it into high gear with tracks such as 'Brighton Rock', 'Killer Queen', 'Flick Of The Wrist', and the two killer cuts 'Now I'm Here' and 'Stone Cold Crazy'. They even looked great - cherub faces and cascading long hair. A hidden classic among the vast Queen cannon.

This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Vinyl: Super clean and shiny condition. No spindle marks on labels and virtually no other signs of use. Grades as top MINT-!

Cover: Again no signs of use. Issued in a beautifully designed fully laminated cover. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is stiff and straight. Grades as shop fresh MINT!
