Made In Heaven A2/B2

This is a Mint original 1995 UK release of this limited edition cream vinyl LP and includes the three posters.  I recently purchased a small but 100% immaculate Queen collection and the previous owner only played his vinyls the once.  They were then stored in a plastic PVC sleeve for safekeeping.  This is the first vinyl from that collection and to say it is perfect condition is an understatement!

Visual grading

This is as good as it gets.  The vinyl looks as good as it did when first pressed 22 years ago.  There are no hairlines or scratches and it is visually in superb condition.  It retains a beautiful glossy sheen and has only one tiny barely visible spindle line on the S2 label.

Play grading  

'It's A Beautiful Day' has stunning audio from the very first second.  So often the first few grooves will play with some static/crackle and especially on this intro as it is so quiet but that is certainly not the case here and the clarity is breathtaking throughout.  I do not often grade as Mint but the audio here deserves that grading.  There is no interference of any kind, not one click or pop.  This album may not be sealed but it is as 'new' as it could be.  'Mother Love'  is a classic example of that and for such a quiet track it plays with a clarity and depth that can only be described as Mint, the audio is of a standard I have not heard in a long time.  'My Life Has Been Saved' ends the side with exactly the same astounding quality.

There is no need to individually grade each track on S2 as the quality compares to that of S1.  Absolute Mint audio from start to end.  A couple of mega light dust ticks on the 'Too Much Love Will Kill You' intro but this cannot be classified as interference.  This track again plays in sublime fashion for such a quiet track.  The stunning audio does not subside and even the reprise of 'It's A Beautiful Day' has no dust ticks, clicks etc.

In summary if anyone is after a final upgrade, archive copy of this original pressing then this is the one to own.  It has no imperfections and has audio of the highest standard imaginable.  The gatefold is also in superb condition and it is obvious to see that this album was originally bought as a collectors' piece not to played or handled.

Hopefully the photos do it justice as this is the cleanest and most spectacular gatefold I have seen in a long time.  It has no shelf wear at all and can confidently be graded as Mint the quality is that good.  It goes without saying that there is no handling wear on the opening edges.

This is also like new with no marking or creasing and certainly no splits.

The labels

They are super clean with no marking/writing and only mega wispy faint line on S2.

The posters

They are again like new with no creasing or age related marks.  Stunning.  Also included is the small advertising flyer which is in perfect condition.

Play tested on my Pro-Ject Essential III Turntable / B&W 684 Speakers

I grade according to "Record Collector" guidelines.
