Queen : Made In Heaven A2 / B2 (Cream Vinyl)

This limited edition LP from 1995 is in beautiful condition and the previous owner assured me it had never been played before.  I have no reason to doubt him as the audio is stunning with no interference of any kind.  The clarity and depth could not be any better and this is a FINAL UPGRADE album, a time warp classic!  As you would expect there is no spindle wear on the labels.

The gatefold is also in fantastic condition and the three posters are pristine, perhaps never opened!  The lyric inner is also 'as new' with no wear.

A beautifully preserved album that any collector would be impressed by.

It has an immaculate glossy sheen as per an unplayed vinyl and is 'as new' I am confident in saying.  There are no marks or scratches and I cannot see any sleeve removal hairlines either.  You could not wish to find a more beautiful example!  As stated there is no spindle wear and the run out grooves and labels are also in pristine condition.

Play grading  

'It's A Beautiful Day' is often affected by a lot of static/crackle on the opening grooves but I am delighted to say this intro is incredibly 'clean' with only the bare minimum of light background static.  As the vocal begins the clarity is 'as new' and it continues to play in exactly the same way and to the very end there is no intrusion on the audio whatsoever.  This is easily worth a Near Mint+  vast majority is even better than that!

'Made In Heaven' is immaculate from start to finish with not one iota of interference.  A truly astounding Mint version with a sonic quality that is equal to that of a vinyl that has never been played.

'Let Me Live' is of the same 'high end' standard and plays with stunning power and depth throughout.  This also grades as Mint the quality is unbelievable - no clicks or pops and no static or crackle either.

The classic 'Mother Love' plays with sublime quality.  There are a number of quiet sections and yet the clarity cannot be faulted.  With only a handful of barely audible dust ticks this is audio of the highest quality and Mint is a fair assessment once again.  100% stunning!

'My Life Has Been Saved' ends the side with Mint audio once more.  This track regularly has some inner groove distortion but there is barely any here, another indication that the vinyl has never been played before.

'I Was Born To Love You' has only a couple of a couple of light static ticks on the intro and plays with superb depth and power for the remainder.  There is no interference and Mint- is deserved.

The quiet intro on 'Heaven For Everyone' is 'as new' there is no other way to describe it and to think this record was pressed 25 years ago!  It plays with stunning precision and again there is no 'background' of any kind aside from a couple of mega light ticks on the fade out.  An immaculate Mint- version.

'Too Much Love Will You' plays with stunning clarity from the very first note and is one of the finest examples I have ever heard.  There are a small number of very light static ticks (not clicks!) but in no way are they intrusive as they are so quiet.  A very impressive Mint- version.  Even the super quiet end section plays beautifully.

'You Don't Fool Me' is Mint from start to finish.  The audio is flawless and the bass so strong of course.  The fade out does not even have a single dust tick!  I cannot stress enough how fantastically well this plays!

'A Winter's Tale' is of the same precise quality with no interference to be heard.  There is nothing to fault and grades as Mint without doubt.  Pure stunning audio!

'It's A Beautiful Day (reprise)' closes the album in fine style with, you guessed it, no interference at all.  So often the final grooves on this record will have some 'background', especially in the quieter sections, but that is certainly not the case here.  It plays with great clarity and as the volume increases there is no loss in quality.  This is a stunning end to a vinyl that has been so well preserved down the years.

In summary this FINAL UPGRADE album plays to a standard that is so rarely heard today.  Ok I may have removed the unplayed 'tag' but at least potential buyers are now aware of the quality on offer here now!  The clarity and sonic quality is so impressive and for both sides to have no clicks or pops is a real rarity.  There is no intrusive static and the gatefold is also in superb condition as are all the inserts.

The Gatefold

The cover is in lovely condition with no obvious shelf wear.  The edges and wide spine are in superb shape with only a couple of tiny rubs and the there is only very minimal corner wear.  There is very little rubbing on the two bottom corners and only a minor crease top left.  The opening edges have no handling wear at all.  The front cover is beautifully clean with no marking and the back cover is also in great order with only one very small white 'speck' plus the inside of the gatefold is near perfect with only a handful of white specks near the top edge.  Hardly any sellers would mention this and I am nothing if not honest and thorough in my grading!  The cover is also very strong and robust which again provides further confirmation that it has hardly ever been held.  This is a fine example of this iconic cover.

The Lyric Inner, Posters & Leaflet

The glossy lyric inner is pristine with no side splits or marking of any kind and is perfect Mint condition and the same can be said for the posters which have perhaps never been opened!  The advertising 'flyer' is in excellent shape with only one corner crease.

The Labels

They are 'as new' with no marking or writing and no spindle wear as stated.

Play tested on my Pro-Ject Essential III Turntable / B&W 684 Speakers
