The last performance of Queen's original line up in 1986, now available on vinyl, offers a captivating glimpse into a momentous occasion in rock history. This release preserves the essence of Queen's final concert with Freddie Mercury at Knebworth Park in front of 120,000 people. With tracks ranging from the anthemic 'Tie Your Mother Down' to the soul-stirring 'Who Wants To Live Forever,' each song captures the band's electrifying energy and Mercury's unparalleled stage presence. Amidst the euphoria, some shadows loom, not least a very public meltdown from an apparently exceedingly refreshed John Deacon and the murder of a young fan during the set, as well as the added significance as Mercury's health declined in the years following. But with its raw emotion and timeless music, this vinyl release serves as a poignant tribute to Queen's enduring legacy and Freddie Mercury's indelible impact on the world of music.
