Description
This copy of Jazz is in superb condition for a first press. It has to be one of the finest vinyls and under a bright light I can only detect a couple of minor hairlines. It has obviously been very well looked after. I would grade it as Near Mint-
Cat no EMA 788 - Matrix nos YAX5550-1U / YAX5551-1U and RTB-2 and RTB-1 and Sterling etched into the dead wax also. Stampers GPG/GGM
The Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold cover is in Near Mint- condition. There is only very slight wear to the corners and minor creasing to the spine but again is one of the best I have seen. The front cover looks superb and has the raised Jazz logo denoting an early press. There is only very slight wear at the top, very minor. The back cover is in great order also, practically in Mint condition. As stated the poster is still attached and is in Mint condition, not coming away from the cover at all - how rare is that!
The inner photo sleeve with rounded corners (later ones were square) is in Near Mint condition. So often the sleeve has become unglued but not this one.
The labels are Near Mint
Overall in superb condition for 35 years old - you won't be disappointed! Quite possibly the best I have seen.
