One of Queen's rarest and most collectable singles - scarce 'WITHDRAWN LIVE SLEEVE' of Queen's Hammer to Fall 12" single from 1984.

Keen collectors will know not many of these exist and even fewer in this condition after it was decided to withdraw this single from sale due to the fact it might appear the single was a live version - nothing to do with the rights of the photographer.  The message didn't get to Woolworths stores and so some got snapped up before being taken off the shelves and replaced with the plain red sleeve.

This sample is in NEAR MINT condition as can be seen from the photographs - a must have for the discerning record collector.

Visual grading

SIDE A LABEL :  Near mint

SIDE B LABEL :  Excellent - light spindle mark

VINYL :  Excellent - one 5mm (approx.) scratch on Side B

OUTER SLEEVE :  Near mint - almost as it was when originally purchased in 1984 - just very light storage wear to the bottom corners and a surface crease bottom left - nice glossy sleeve, the pictures really do show how superb this specimen is  - as good as it gets!

Collectors Tip - 7" bootlegs (fakes) appear on coloured vinyl or have 'Cassette' spelt incorrectly on the rear as 'Casette'.  Also the the sleeves on the fakes aren't as glossy and the font on the front for 'QUEEN' is slightly different with longer serifs, such as on the letter 'N'.
