Queen : Hammer To Fall 12'' Single 1984
This collectable 12'' single plays to a sublime standard and the cover is also in excellent condition.
The 'Headbangers Mix' of the classic 'Hammer To Fall' plays with superb clarity and power from the very first groove to the last. It just could not play any better! There is no 'background', no distortion, and it is patently obvious this record has hardly been played. An immaculate version! 'Tear It Up' again has no interference with a clarity and strength that is so impressive. A Mint vinyl basically! Not one single tick, click or pop on either side and no underlying static.
The vinyl is stunning and has no marks or scratches and only a small number of very faint (barely visible) sleeve removal hairlines. The S1 label has no spindle wear and S2 has only 3/4 small traces.
The cover is in great condition and in fact from the front it looks 'as new'. There is hardly any edge wear and the corners are also very 'clean'. The front cover is immaculate with no marking and the same goes for the back cover but there is a little creasing of the flipback bottom left. It is relatively minor and overall this is a fine example of this cover.
