QUEEN Geisha boys US ROHDAN RECORDS LP -A/-B SLA 001!

 

Original unofficial US LP. Released in 1979, on the ROHDAN RECORDS Label. Catalogue number: SLA 001.

Matrix Numbers read:

A-side: SLA-00001-A QT-3

B-side: SLA-00001-B QT-3

 

The sleeve and the record are original however the record sleeve and the record labels has been decorated with individual artwork and the original front record insert is missing.

 

Sleeve/Record: VERY GOOD/EXCELLENT CONDITION (*Plays EXCELLENT)

Sleeve graded VERY GOOD in appearance owing to decorative artwork, pictures and track listing correspond to the period. Sleeve comes with the original PVC sleeve enclosing the record Sleeve, removal is not recommended (ultimately buyer’s choice) as this does appear to affect the underlying artwork somewhat, which does appear to be slightly bubbled/lifted in places.

 

Record labels are clean with artwork stuck over the original labels, with no spindle hole trail marks evident. Playing surfaces/matrix areas retain the full original glossy sheen, with no immediate or noticeable surface scuffs/marks, does have some minimal small/tiny minor barely visible fine line surfaces scuffs, which only show up/appear when viewed at closely whilst angled under a strong bright light. Graded visually as in EXCELLENT condition. *Record plays EXCELLENT on both sides.

 

Basically an interesting and original LP, however one could argue that it has been butchered to some degree or improved etc. Grading’s are based on appearance and not debate, additionally the record plays fine and reflects the original sound amicably (expect sound quality on a par with most typical unofficial recordings from this period). For auction, no revere, reasonable start price. Pictures provided for your personal judgement.
