Queen : Absolute Greatest 3 x Vinyl Box Set 2009

This now rare box set is in superb condition with audio that cannot be faulted, the clarity and depth on each vinyl is so impressive.  The previous owner assured me it had only been played once and even then he was not even sure if every side had been played!

Visual grading

Pressed on super heavyweight vinyl each record is visually stunning and there are no scratches or marks at all.  There is only one faint hairline on S1 but this has no affect on the immaculate quality of the audio.  The run out grooves and labels are also in fantastic condition.

Play grading  

I have played excerpts from every track and some tracks in their entirety and there is no interference of any kind.  Indeed there was no need to clean the records as the clarity and definition is 'high end' to say the least.  The quieter tracks such as 'These Are The Days Of Our Lives' and 'Who Wants To Live Forever' are primes examples of that and rarely do you hear them play so cleanly.  The 'louder' tracks do not disappoint either and have no distortion.  'I Want It All' and 'The Show Must Go On' are just two examples of the power and clarity on offer here.  It is also worth noting that the runs ins and fade outs also play with wonderful clarity and precision.

The Box  

The box itself is in lovely condition and remains very strong and robust.  The top 'lid' is nigh on perfect with only one very minor 'crease' on the top edge and a mega tiny 'nick' on the left side.  The 'back' is also in superb order with only a few minor indentations that you can only see when you hold it at a certain angle.  There are no corner splits to be seen.

The Inners & Booklet  

The lyric inners and red outer sleeves are all in perfect condition with no splits or marking at all.  The inner booklet is also of the same standard.  Absolutely stunning!
