Queen : Absolute Greatest 3LP Box Set 2009

This now rare box set is in stunning Mint condition and plays with immaculate audio.  The records are pressed on super heavyweight vinyl and the previous owner confirmed he had only ever played them once and even then he wasn't sure if he had played every side!

The box is in superb condition and has no corner splits.  The accompanying booklet contains many rare photos plus copies of handwritten lyrics to a few songs.  Each vinyl is housed in a lyric sleeve which in turn is contained within a glossy outer sleeve.  The download card is included although it is doubtful if this still works!

Pressed on heavyweight vinyl and mastered using the 'Paradigm Half Speed Process'

Visual grading

The vinyls have that 'as new' visual look and are absolutely in pristine condition.  There are no hairlines or scratches and I can only see one tiny spindle trace on the S2 label.  I have never seen a more perfect looking set than this one.  As clean as the day it was first released the vinyls are visually stunning and they all have that jet black glossy sheen as if they were pressed yesterday.

Play grading

I have play tested a number of tracks on each side and I can confirm they play with a clarity and depth that is second to none.  approaching 10 years old the audio quality is astounding.  I have graded as Mint although I know the box isn't sealed but the audio quite simply plays 'as new'.  Even 'Who Wants To Live Forever' plays in sublime style which is a rarity for this track and has only a handful of mega light dust ticks.  Even new vinyls can have this and there are no clicks or pops anywhere to be heard across all six sides.  Absolute stunning audio!  

The Box and Inner Booklet

The box is in superlative condition with no corner splits.  There are no markings or knocks and all I could detect was one mega small indent on the front.  A superb looking box that is nigh on perfect.  The booklet is in Mint condition with no handling wear at all.

The Lyric sleeves and Outer sleeves

They are in fantastic condition with no shelf wear whatsoever.  No splits, no rubbing to the edges or corners and no marking either.  You won't find better.

The Labels

  The labels are 'as new' with no marking etc.  Just one tiny faint spindle trace on S2.
