Description
Original 1975 pressing of Queen: A Night At The Opera on Elektra Records 7E-1053, this is the variant pressed at PRC Recording Company in Compton, California as designated by "PRC" on the labels and etched in the deadwax. This also has "SP" in the deadwax, so it must've been a Specialty mastering. What a classic album, I think every child is born knowing the lyrics to "Bohemian Rhapsody" but this record is so much more. Brian May and Freddie Mercury were two incredible songwriters, but the Taylor & Deacon tracks were hits on this too! Definitely one of the most important records from the '70s. This copy appears very clean, there are no visual flaws at all on side 1 but a couple stray light scratches on side 2 so I grade it at the Very Good Plus (VG+) level, beautiful clean labels with no dreaded spindle marks! The cover has some light moisture darkening and rubbing along the edges and a few spots of foxing, it's fully intact with no splits but I'll put it at the Very Good (VG) level because of the yellow spots. It's really hard to find a flawless white cover of this but this one is no slouch and presents very nicely. Here's your chance to own an original pressing of this classic LP with great analog sound!
