This is the fourth studio album from Queen and by some distance their most successful, topping the UK chart for 4 weeks and reaching No 5 in the US. Generally considered to be the band's best album it displays a variety of styles from hard rock to ballad. It carries "Bohemian Rhapsody"  about which little need be said.
First press indicators:

• Embossed crest on front of sleeve
• 2/2 matrix numbers
• "Blairs" on run -off - later versions had "Mr Blair's Cut"
• The original picture inner printed on card with 3 corners cut off

Gradings follow the standards recommended in Record Collector Magazine's grading guide. 

• Vinyl: EX - a very few light surface marks only visible under strong light
• Sleeve:   EX - the  gatefold sleeve has just a small amount of edge and corner wear; being white, it has picked up a tiny amount of grubbiness over 40 years; the inside is immaculate 
• The spine is clearly readable.
• The labels are clean and undamaged
• The original picture inner has a 2" impact split along one edge but is otherwise in excellent condition
