Description

QUEEN "A NIGHT AT THE OPERA" LPZ-2072 (stereo) 180g vinyl

DCC Compact Classics, launched by Marshall Blonstein in 1986, became the premier audiophile imprint in the marketplace, and a mainstay in the reissue arena into the 90s.  Long considered to be the definitive pressings of their classic rock, pop and jazz discography.

Engineered by the master Steve Hoffman, still the undisputed king of LP manufacture to this day (currently kept very busy by RTI/Warner/Cisco/S&P and many other audiophile vinyl labels).

This copy is numbered edition 1235 (stickered in gold on the reverse bottom left corner).

This copy is graded as EX/EX in accordance with the recognised Record Collector Gradings. The stiff gloss laminated card cover shows only very minor of wear, and some hardly noticable sun bleaching on the spine (given the fact the sleeve is white!!!).  The weight of card used by DCC ensures the sleeves are immune to even the most rigorous handling, and the front and back covers look superb!! The cover has been removed from its original polythene sleeve and placed inside a heavier guage polythene cover.  The LP itself would have been listed as NM, were it not for the slightest of spindle marks - but all told this copy is as near a perfect copy we've ever seen.

Grab yourself a piece of audiophile and rock history!!
