Description
On offer here is a wonderful A2/B2 first press of A Kind of Magic. It is actually rare to find an A2/B2 press today and especially in this condition. I have listened to every track and the playback is first class. The vinyl has been very well looked after and there are no hairlines at all. Under a bright light the vinyl is visually stunning and is certainly one of the best I have seen and heard.
There is only the slightest hint of static but it is only very intermittent and it does not affect the listening enjoyment whatsoever. The intro to 'One Vision' plays with barely no interference and this quality continues on the whole of Side One. It would still be extremely difficult to find a better first press than this. Even the intro to 'Who Wants To Live Forever' on Side Two has very clear audio with hardly any static. It has to be one of the best versions I have heard. The same can be said for 'Princes of the Universe' that plays with excellent clarity and depth. This can be said for every track in my opinion.
A stunning first press and a great addition to any quality collection.
The gatefold cover has also been extremely well looked after. With minimal shelf wear it just has slight rubbing to the corners and a couple of small creases to the edge of the spine. The spine has a little rubbing in a couple of places. The opening edge is wonderfully clean as is the inside of the gatefold.
The lyric inner is in great condition and is as new.
Play tested on my Technics SL-J110R turntable system.
