B.B.C ROCK HOUR
LIVE AT THE HAMMERSMITH ODEON, LONDON
24th DECEMBER 1975
MEGA RARE VERSION B. #309 FEB-28th 1982
Mega-Rare original BBC Rock Hour album containing the brilliant Christmas 1975, London, Hammersmith Odeon Queen gig. This is an extremely rare very hard to find Queen item that was only ever pressed in tiny quantities for radio station use. I have owned some other BBC rock hour albums in the past and the content is usually cut to ribbons with really annoying advertising tunes, this album only has a few so the music just flows along. This 1975 concert was recorded by the BBC so as expected the sound quality is excellent.
The vinyl is very clean and visually grades as excellent+ condition, there are just one or two very light wispy lines and hairlines that do not effect play, all tracks play and sound great with just tiny amounts of light surface crackle and a few light tics, this is almost none at all as this album plays close to new. The sound quality is nice and clear throughout and as already mentioned the gig was recorded by the BBC so the sound quality would be nothing but excellent.
Both labels are very clean and bright and look near new with no defects. The original plain white outer card cover and the poly-lined inner sleeve are in very good condition, as to be expected with a plain white cover that is now 26 years old there is some ageing, yellowing and some marks, i could have found a better inner and cleaner outer cover but i do not like to mix and match, these are the original sleeves that came with the album so they stay with the album, the important thing is that the vinyl is in great condition.
The original one page cue sheet with track information and running times printed on both sides is in very good condition, there are no rips or holes but there is a small amount of writing on one side.
This mega rare B.B.C. issue live Queen album was only ever pressed in very small numbers for radio station use only. It really does not get offered for sale very often at all and it will be some time before another surfaces for sale again.

I pack my records very well indeed, the album will be removed from the card cover to avoid seem/edge splits in transit, plenty of rigid cardboard support will be used to avoid corners bending, this album will reach you in the same condition as advertised.
