BRASS VOICES-LONGINES SYMPHONETTE(197?)/LONGINES SYMPHONETTE RECORDING SOCIETY(US)/LS311A(SYS5812-SYS5817)

THIS 6 RECORD SET IS ENCODED IN THE QS FORMAT.
The outer box is still in one piece...kinda...there is a split that runs the length of the front edge of the top of the box, it also has  light surface wear, with heavier wear on the edges/corners.
The inner box (with the little fold down flap) is in considerably better condition, altho' it must have a (beginning/partial?) split that someone has seen neccesary to tape.
The 6 vinyls all have light paper scuffs/marks on them.
This does not affect the play...for the most part they are cosmetic only...the static/ticks I did detect are not constant and are light and occasional...certainly well below any major irritation level ... otherwise,  they sound close to new. The one main reason for the lower conditional grade of EX++/EX+(+) is because of the cosmetic scuffs/smudges, which combined with the sonic defects noted above keep them from achieving a grade no higher than NM(-), or, if you prefer from 8.5 to 9+ of 10.

As you can see, the musical selections pretty much cover the current hits of the day...done with elevated arrangements for a  full brass band and chorus...so if you enjoy this style of easy listening/background music with lots of  "doobie doobie doobie doo doo wahs", then this is for you!
Did I mention, the QS encoding??  The quad sound is quite brilliant...you usually don't hear so much rear/front speaker action with the QS format...compared to SQ, I have found it to be the more subtle and low key of the two, usually projecting room filling ambiences from the rear speakers.
