Up for bid is a rare LP, "King of Kings," by The Pyramids. This is a private press, released in the US by Pyramid Records (30934) in 1974. There was a copy of this LP that sold here on ebay in January for $836 that was listed as a US first press 1974. In that listing, the matrix numbers for that record was listed as PR-30934-1  /  PR-30934-2. The matrix numbers for the LP in my auction are the very same (see pictures). LP is VG+, with some light scuffs and a couple of light scratches on either side. Interior labels are very clean. LP retains a nice gloss. LP plays with light surface noise (crackle, tics, and a few pops) - with no skips, sounds great! A professional clean may reduce the surface noise present. Jacket is VG+, with a split along the top seam that starts at the front top right corner and travels toward the spine about 2 inches. There is  wear on all seams and corners. There is some light scuffing along the top of the front of the jacket in the blue area near the top seam (see pictures). There are air bubbles under the paste on art work on the front and back of the jacket (see pictures). There is a very light abrasion on the surface of the artwork on the back of the jacket in the top left corner (see pictures). Jacket retains a nice gloss. Don't miss this scarce gem! We will pack this securely for safe delivery - this will be a little heavy due to the inserts we put in the LP mailer. Domestic delivery will be via USPS media mail including a tracking number.
