Purple Smoke ~~ Vol 1 Label: Mark Custom (((stereo))) EXCEEDINGLY RARE Private Press Garage Psych with Femme vocals and Fuzz.Stoned bar band plays a combination of loungey cover tunes (Evil Ways, Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?, etc) and more psyched-out Orig. material. Cover is like new except for expected age related VERY minor yellowing of cardboard. Inner sleeve is mint except for expected age related yellowing. Vinyl appears unplayed. This was found in the closet of a house which was owned by a possible relative of one of the band members. It was stored properly in a dry, dark closet, horizontally, as it should be. NO pests, no smoke. Untouched since 1969. No scuffing on the cover or anything. Sharp corners and edges. Same condition as sealed except no seal wrap. The condition of the entire package could not be better. VISUAL GRADING: Cover/Vinyl: M/M GRADING RULE USED: SS -Still Sealed - Never opened. M -Mint - a near perfect, probably unplayed record. VG+ -Very Good Plus - the record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little deterioration in sound quality.VG -Very Good - a used, reasonable copy. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.VG- Very Good Minus - significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise.
