Description
I bought this new when it was first released. The marks I have described were on the vinyl when I bought it. Some of the sides had never been played until now (so that I could check them before selling). The original circular discs of paper to divide the LPs are with it and are in pristine condition.
1:1 - Albatross - A2 - Looks mint, played like new
1:2 - Memories / Swanlake - B1 - vinyl has a line about 1.5 cm long but it didn't make any noise and this side played like new. Swanlake continues into the out-tro until the needle is lifted off (which I think is normal)
2:1 - Poptones / Careering - C1 - Looks mint, played like new
2:2 - No birds / Graveyard - D1 - There are marks across the outside edge which make 4/5 clicks at the start. Once the music kicks in the rest of this side sounds like new
3:1 - The Suit / Bad Baby - E1 - Looks mint, I click on 1st track but apart from this sounded like new.
3:2 - Socialist chant radio 4 - F1 - Looks mint, played like new
3 x 12" Vinyl - Virgin METAL 1 - 1979
The metal box has been stored in a dark cupboard and shows the same signs of oxidisation as pretty much everybody else's from that time.
