Original Hapshash and the Coloured Coat Psychedelic Poster for Sunday 27th August 1967 Jimi Hendrix Experience . That weekend was a Bank Holiday one in the UK Brian Epstein owned the lease on the Saville Theatre Shaftesbury Avenue London He was found dead aged 32 on this very day in a locked bedroom from an overdose As a mark of respect the second performance of The Jimi Hendrix Experience at The Saville was cancelled on this date leading to a near riot  ( Hendrix had 2 performances scheduled this day the first having gone ahead ) Please note this is an original poster from that day a picture of which is in the V+A Book You Say You Want a Revolution Records and Rebels 1966-1970 which was also an Exhibition .( I attended that exhibition and despite going towards the close could not move for people ) A copy was also on display in Cosmic Visions another V+ A Exhibition. Size is just under 30" x 20" It has both the Jimi Hendrix and The Beatles connection  Michael English and Nigel Waymouth were Hapshash and the Coloured Coat and produced some of the best Psychedelic Posters of that period this being one of them. Colours are great on this copy and condition largely exemplary just a small nick to paper on right hand side towards bottom . Posting Immediate Will post Worldwide
