Bob Edmund:I See No Colors (Rabo/1970)

Tremendous garage/psych folk-rock. Bob is backed up by a band called Byrth, which is fronted by a cool cheesy organ. Bob's lyrics speak the post-hippie flavor of the times and are sung in his unique scratchy voice. There is an obvious influence of elctric period Bob Dylan. The review in Fuzz, Acid and Flowers says "it has a power reminiscent of Blonde On Blonde".
Song titles include Saturday Thought, Mind Song, So Far Out Of It, Fly the Friendly Skys.
Comes in a primitive-looking black & white cover which has a most interesting story behind it (which is finally told correctly and with the right date in the latest edition of Fuzz - thanks CF, okay, really thanks to me).
Originally a press of 500, there are less than 20 known copies in the psych scene.
The cover is VG-. There is considerable wear on seams but only one tiny split on bottom at opening; mildwear on spine; mild ringwear front & back; some additional wear on back; a few light creases near edges; corners slightly banged; some writing on front - an asterisk & the word 'skips'. I would grade the record G+ to VG-. There are a good amount of light hairline marks across both sides; several areas of small discoloration marks; some heavier marks; one very heavier mark across the1st two tracks of side 2 that can be felt with a finger, but has no effect on the play outside of what is described. It plays with constant crackling throughout both sides, which is heaviest in the first couple of songs on each side, but gets lower in the later songs; at no point does it drown out the music. There are intermittent pops heard in several songs on side . There is no heavy clicking nor are there any skips (despite what was written on the cover).
Sealed copies have gone for over $1,000. Here's a chance to pick up a fair collection copy for a lower amount that won't send you into Chapter 11.
