Prokofiev Violin Concertos 1 & 2 Milstein Aust Columbia SAXO 5275 Magic Notes

 

Nathan Milstein and Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Carl Maria Giulini  perform of the Prokofiev “Violin Concertos”, No. 1, and with the New Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Rafael Fruhbeck De Burgos, the “Concerto” No. 2. An original Australian stereo pressing on the Columbia Label (SAXO 5275), the labels are blue/green with silver border and “radio waves” and black Columbia and stereo flash and Magic Notes Logo. The record is of excellent appearance and plays and sounds superb with a minimum of surface noise. The recording is superb. The cover (English front/Australian back) has minor wear only.
