Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: Procol Harum - A salty dog - RARE Original UK STEREO Vinyl LP album 1969.
Y CARX 57-1
YCA RX 58-1
Vinyl Condition: Fair/Good (The record has a lot of surface marks, scuffs, superficial scratches etc and has been well played. However it is still decent and plays through well with no sticks or jumps at all. There is surface crackle throughout and a number of clicks and pops heard in places but is an enjoyable listen. There is a minor scratch on side 2 track 4 which causes some clicks for just over a minute or so but is not overly intrusive. This will NOT suit fussy collectors but will suit someone who wants a fully playable original for a fraction of the price. Overall the record looks it age but plays well).
Inner Sleeve Condition: VG (Plain white inner is a replacement. Original is missing).
Outer Sleeve Condition: Fair/Good (Fully laminated sleeve is showing its age. There is edge and corner wear and creasing. There are a number of creases to the laminate on both sides. Spine has an approx 5cm split which and spine text is now longer readable. There is some staining in places. The back of the sleeve has several heavy creases to the top left corner. There are also a number of other heavy creases. Overall the sleeve is decent for its age)
I grade my vinyl’s as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
If you would like further information on sleeve or record condition then please email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
Please note: Due to the large amount of CD’s and records that I am selling, I don’t have time to include the track listings. If the track listing is important to you then please email me and I will send you the track list.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR POSTAGE ADDRESS IS UP TO DATE AND CORRECT BEFORE BIDDING.
Cheers and happy bidding.
