ANDREW LEWIS BAND LP THE BLUE ALBUM (Richmond Records/Short Pump Associates 7103-19)

  Very hard-to-find 1977 modern soul/funk album from Richmond, VA. Contains the fine cut "A New Day" & a blistering instrumental funk take on Peter Mancini's "Peter Gunn." Special pressing of this album with embossed lettering. Still included is the finely-printed insert sheet with lyrics, credits & a great photo of the band. A.L.B. was recorded at Alpha Audio in Richmond by Joe Horner, the same studio that recorded the great Starfire & Waller Family LPs (and the Jade album, I think). (Matrix #: "RR 1001-A  710319A  323  OM")



 COVER - VERY GOOD

  Overall, pretty nice looking with no stains, seam splits, tears, smudges, water damage, cut-out marks, writing, price tags or stickers. Deep RICH RICH color & sharp print. Mild amount of ring wear & rubbing, plus a 1-inch neat incision on spine with no tatters & flecks. Beautiful deep blue color free of fading. Sharp print. Slight corner banging. Two-tone blue label looks very good with no stains, writing, tears, or tape. Sharp cut hole. Insert is free of marks, stains, tears or any discoloration.



DISC - VERY GOOD PLUS PLUS

  We give great importance to grading our items accurately. A few very light scuffs on side A. Side B looks pretty fine with a minor fleck or two. No stains, streaks, pits, warping or residue on the disc or dead wax. Very nice surface gloss. Album appears to have been safely stored upright.
