Description

Excellent, guaranteed original, 1976 UNKNOWN!! Minnesota Private-Pressing STILL SEALED Folk Psych LP by NEW DAY entitled "New Day" on Heritage Records. This is a brand new discovery for me (after collecting this stuff for almost 30 years now!). Once this album is heard it WILL END up in the legendary "Acid Archives" book! Great female (mostly) vocal tunes with a few covers, several originals, and a couple instrumental tunes as well. Stand-out tunes include a great bluesy female vocal cover of "House Of The Rising Sun" (with super guitar and huge drum rolls!), a great anti-war original tune written by former leader of the band PRINCE & THE PAUPERS ("Shoulder Of A Giant" fame) entitled "Blood Of Freedom" (killer durge/fuzz guitar at the end of the song), and by far the best (a new personal favorite!!!!) female vocal original tune called "Give Me A Chance" (excellent vocals with fantastic lead guitar breaks).Condition: Cover = MINT- (beautiful SEAL-no cellophane splits or tear), Record = MINT.
