Description
Up for sale we have The Prisonaires doing "A Prisoner's Prayer," the very rare 7" Sun Records #191 45rpm record. This was recorded just 8 months before Elvis' first Sun Records release. The condition of this record is VG-. The labels look very good as the photos show with minimal wear and a small area of discoloration on the bottom of the "I Know" side. You can see the much talked about "PUSH MARKS" on both sides. If you've heard this record before you know that there is a hiss throughout both sides in the actual original recording. The recording itself is low in volume. Aside from this, the extra surface noise from use is apparent but minimal on the "Prisoner's Prayer" side. The "I Know" side has the same surface use but has a few mor pops during the song with one series at the end of the song that is very noticeable. You can hear it on the above youtube recording. Goldmine rating wise it's close to a VG, but I'm conservative and put VG-. Happy bidding.

International sales: we typically only ship items within the United States. Other items may be available through the Global Shipping Program. Again, we are reasonable folks willing to make exceptions to our domestic-only shipping policies, but this must be set up in advance of purchase.
Shipping: we strive to provide fast service, with many items shipped the same day as the receipt of payment. Along with our desire to exceed expectations with speedy shipping, have confidence in knowing we pack carefully, some parcels taking an hour or more to pack. Our shipping fees may occasionally include an allotment for time and materials. We are happy to combine shipping, when possible. As of August 2016, we are no longer shipping on Saturdays, with exceptions being made for time-sensitive purchases and the Christmas season (for which we often ship multiple times per day). Additionally, all items $200 and over may require signature confirmation to be sure said item(s) safely reach your hands.
In an effort to help you save money on shipping now that increased USPS rates have gone into effect (Jan. 2016), we are offering a multitude of shipping options and providers.
